We spent the weekend in Aptos with friends and will be leaving in a bit to go home, sweet home. Charlie is napping and I wanted to send an update on some exciting (to us) things.
Charlie started standing about 4 or 5 days ago. He stands while holding onto things but he has been letting go and just standing. The longest was about 30 seconds - then he plops down on his booty.
Yesterday, Charlie was standing and he put his left food forward. My friend Dorothy and I looked at each other like "did you just see that?!" and it was confirmed: he took his first step. Then he did it again a couple minutes later and our friend Melissa witnessed it too.
This boy is going to walk before he cuts his first tooth!

Can't wait for pictures! Miss you guys...squeeze those chubby little legs for me, Alyssa - um...that was meant for CHARLIE. Just wanted to clear that up :)
