Snaggletooth.

The proper order of getting baby teeth is you first get the two middle bottom ones then you get the top middles ones. Unless you are Charlie. Charlie doesn't play by the rules. Charlie starts off normal by getting his bottom two teeth then he throws us a curve ball and spices it up a bit by having 1 random tooth on top (non middle) pop through. I see one of the middles starting to come through so thats a good sign but really kid, its going to take a lot for you to pull of the "cute" hillbilly look. And yes, that IS a snot string from his nostril to his eye area.

We hired a nanny to help my mom out a couple times a week. She has good ideas such as feeding Charlie water with a spoon because he is not getting the sippy cup idea yet (apparently he loves water!). She also helped us make a mean homemade chicken veggie soup for Charlie. She also has her own ideas regarding how to dress Charlie...

I always thought to have a good comfortable bra, you had to buy it at Nordstroms or Victoria's Secret. I found out this weekend I was very wrong.

I went to Kohl's this weekend to get a new bra because I was wearing the same 2 bras and lets be real, I don't do my laundry often. Rob can attest to that. Attest is the right word, right?

Yes, that's right. Anywho....when I find something great like this I often stock up and share the news so this right here is me sharing the news. Get this bra. I bought two and love it so much I ordered two more online last night (along with three shirts - because when you buy more you get free shipping, I know I'm a sucker). Its $34 right now but it was $21 yesterday so I'd wait for it to go on sale.
 
So there you have it. I'm dishing out my bra advice even though you didn't ask for it.

Family Portraits - Charlie 9 Months. Please Vote!

I bought another groupon to use for Charlie's 9 month pictures. I was brave and decided to shower, put on an outfit and do my hair and make up and be included in the pictures. FINE, I got my hair cut and highlighted that day so technically I didn't do my hair. I am very pleased with how the pictures turned out. Now I need to decide which ones to blow up for our picture wall (that doesn't exist yet, but I have frames, many frames!).

I'm not asking you to vote on these, but I wanted to post them because I thought they turned out really sweet.

Halloween 2010 - Charlie's 1st Halloween!

Charlie is 10 Months.

Charlie and I were feeling lazy so this month's photoshoot is in his pjs. I was in pjs too, by the way.

Charlie tried beef, mango and pasta this month. He also fed himself with a fork for the first time this month. We're trying to give him more of the solid foods than the baby mush foods so he gets more and more used to them, and so he's not eating "baby food" when he turns 1 in a couple months. *gulp*

Charlie got fitted for his first pair of big boy shoes. He is a size 4 wide. I still don't like having him wear shoes - they don't seem comfy for those little toes but we need to protect those piggies now that he is walking.

Charlie had his first pumpkin patch experience this month.

As you can see, I'm struggling to come up a lot of "firsts" this month. It seems these months are flying by as we get closer and closer to the 1 year mark.
